The challenge

Steel manufacturing runs to demanding production and safety standards, and the workforce supporting it has to be reliable, properly documented and fully covered. The requirement was for deployed personnel managed end to end — so that recruitment, employment documentation, payroll and statutory obligations sat with ALCAMI rather than adding to the client's own administrative load.

What we did

• Staff sourced and screened through ALCAMI's structured recruitment process, including identity verification and reference checks
• Compliant written employment contracts issued to every deployed worker
• NSSF and SHA registration completed for all staff before or immediately upon starting work
• Induction covering workplace conduct, safety and client-specific procedures delivered ahead of deployment
• Monthly payroll processed by ALCAMI, with PAYE, NSSF, SHIF, NITA and the Affordable Housing Levy computed and remitted within statutory deadlines
• On-site supervision providing daily attendance verification and a first point of contact for both the client and deployed staff
